I create mixed media paintings and collage rooted in a multigenerational Central American family photographic archive — work that traces memory, migration, lineage, and belonging through the lens of one family's history.
I spent nearly a decade in community-facing and strategy roles across the DC region — communications strategy, event production, donor engagement, and coalition building — where the human impact of large systems such as housing, displacement, and institutional change became impossible to ignore. That work shapes how I build a painting: not as illustration of a system, but as a record of what a person carries through it.
My work has been shown at the Art & Finance Exhibition Series at National Harbor and currently placed through the City of Alexandria's Art in Every Space initiative.
I'm based in the DC area, where I run Ojalá Studio, a cultural strategy and immersive arts practice.
